Type @Asta to call her
Leyline is in active alpha development. The platform is functional but incomplete. Features may change, be added, or removed without notice. You may encounter bugs or service interruptions. Your data is stored on the host server and is not yet subject to formal data retention policies, though we are committed to building those as the platform matures.
By registering you acknowledge you are using early-stage software and accept that the experience may be imperfect.
Account information — Your username and a hashed passphrase. Your passphrase is never stored in plain text. We do not collect your email, phone number, or real name.
Conversation data — Messages, images, GIFs, and custom emoji you send are stored on the platform server to maintain conversation history and provide Asta with context. Content within a server is visible to other members of that server and to the AI system.
AI processing — Leyline uses Anthropic's Claude API to power Asta. Messages in active channels are processed by Anthropic's API. We do not send your credentials or personal information to Anthropic — only conversation content. Review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com.
Session data — Basic session tokens to keep you logged in. No analytics, no third-party tracking.
Leyline is invite-only. Each server has its own moderation team. All moderation actions are logged with a timestamp, the moderator's identity, and a stated reason. This log is immutable.
Sexual harassment — Any action filed under sexual harassment triggers an immediate automatic server ban and a platform-level flag. A second flag across any server results in an automatic platform-wide ban. This policy is non-negotiable.
Appeals — If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, submit a ticket through Settings. Appeals are reviewed by the platform administrator.
Platform staff may only contact you directly if you submitted a support ticket or your account was flagged for moderation. All official contact is logged and visible to you in Settings under Official Messages.
You control your DM privacy settings, friend and block lists, and can request account data or deletion via ticket. As the platform matures, self-service tooling for these will be added.
